Thursday July 16th, 2009…it’s 7am and we just got finished our nutritious McDonald’s breakfast in the town of Primm Nevada. It’s the last time I’ll be in Nevada until the 27th.

The day before, when we first got off the plane, I turned to Isaac and thelabcoatguy and said “we’re going to be back here in no time, and once we do come back to the airport and the trip is all done I’m going to say remember at the beginning of the trip when I said once we get back to the airport I’ll say this?”

They looked at me with confusion, but they knew what I meant, and it was awesome.

Cousin Curt’s Corner

Greetings from thelabcoatguy.

I just wanted to tell you about an exciting new feature here at FauxPop – Cousin Curt’s Corner.

Cousin Curt is a young man of only 20 years, a film student, a serious drinker of water, and a man who has accompanied us on a few of our adventures. He is also a bit of a bookend for me. oddly enough.

Where my dad is the oldest brother in his family, and I am the oldest grandchild, Cousin Curt’s dad is the youngest brother in that same family, and Curt is the youngest grandchild. And whereas, I am the handsomest, smartest and most delightfully entertaining grandchild,  Curt is, once again, the youngest grandchild.

Thus, it gives us all great pleasure to have Cousin Curt drop in at the FauxPop labs and give us a few of his best words, with hardly any editing.
