BID Podcast – Ep02

In this second BID Podcast we try our hand at our version of jazz (lol) and Matt forgets to turn on his camera.

A few new tunes played raw for your feedback.  We really want your input on the next recordings.

Acid country swing maybe, but jazz?

Chilling, with terrible and ugly beauty of its own.

  2. small buttons Says:

like an alberta clipper, once in awhile it hits and all you can do is sit and take notice!

    good luck boys!

  3. Sapph Says:

The jazz at the begining was good.

1# Not sure why but it’s got that U2 feel to it. Sort of in sound and wording. Sounds like Beautiful Day, mixed with Sunday Bloody Sundays drums, lead guitar has that haunting yet alluring sound to it on Peak. Your vocals on that one also seemed too hot, like in a Stadium with no people….hmmmm hollow is a better word. Hard to hear them.

#2 I envision a rider on a horse just running wild with the wind in their hair and a beautiful sunset that there running too.

#3 I love the softer ambient feel of the lyrics on this one, still a little over powered by the drums, but has a good feel to it. Similiar to the others but not so much so that you couldn’t differentiate them from one another.

All in all some tunes that have great potential, when’s the next album coming out? Ah don’t worry about the camera turned on I’ll just pretend that my TV had a picture tube issue in that space.

How about this for a song: You have inspired me to write this.

    No Camera in The Spotlight

I’ll do better next time, get the camera turned on right.
Gonna play all the way, and see the sights.
It’s gonna be alright, gonna see my name up in lights.
Not gonna worry about bad nights, there too far gone.
Things get messed up and go wrong, that’s why I’m singing this song.
The fans know what I look like, when I grab the mic.
No cameras going take me down, I’ll find a way round.
I’ll put a still pic up instead, they’ll see my shoulders, my neck and head.
The show is good and the music’s hot, doesn’t matter if there’s a camera there or not.
I’m gonna rock the house, and burn it down, my lyrics are the toast of the town.
So I’ll do better next time, get the camera turned on right.
Stay loyal to my fans and rock through the night.
It’s gonna be alright, gonna see my name up in lights.
Cuz everybody knows I’m hot off the mic, rapping and clapping my way to the top.
And even with no camera I’m not gonna stop.

    Cheers. ;)

Thanks Sapphire for the lyric – very nice – maybe we can put some music to it on the next podcast -

  6. Sapph Says:

Hey, Thanks. I’d love to hear it and see what you come up with. Personally I like music with edges to it kind of like your “Waterwalk”. You know hard driving music, screaming guitars, and killer drumbeats and concert hall vocals. Although this is sort of like Rap so I don’t know how well that type of music would go with it. Or maybe you could Jazz it up. LOL! The possiblities are endless. So my comment would be to “Rattle and Hum” and see how she sounds. Can’t wait to hear it.

Thanks again glad you liked it.

Don’t be a bunch of babies. You didn’t lose your producer. He’s just waiting for the invitation to work the new songs.
