This pic was taken by my old pal Chip Muholland down at the Palisades. He was a good man, Chip. Then the 60s came along and he ended up carrying amps around for Ken Kesey and the Pranksters. Last time I saw Chip he was toothless in flip flops, juggling hammers in front of a strobe light for dimes outside the Peppermint Lounge.

How can I forget the days back in Downsview, when I would pile my gear into the Camaro, roll out on the 401 and high ball it into Montreal to rock out with Gino Vanelli and the dudes?.

Well, the answer is that I can’t, not as long as I have this photo.
After too many heartrending months of staring at a placeholder, our efforts in the lab have paid off and we’re putting the finishing touches on the FauxPop TV website.
Of course, there is always more to be done, and we’ve got a backlog of finished content to put into place, but we can’t wait any longer to start getting it out there.
Check out the site and see what you think about our direction, and remember that we’re actively looking for new contributors. If you’re interested in blogging on pop culture, writing short stories, feature articles or long form fiction, creating videos or finding a home for your high quality photographs, maybe FauxPop can work for you.
