Isaac calls in the family (or we could just call him Reuben, since that’s his name…) to help him build a life-sized sewer access pipe in his dad’s workshop, where he shows more of the skills we need when taking on a project like this with such a tiny crew. There’s a good chance he did his own craft services on this shoot too. Watch through to the end and get a good look at the killer shot we’ve put into the title sequence. it gave Cousin Curt chills!
Elias Derby brings the Turtle Power crew into his unbelievable TMNT collection – toys, figures, food, art and more. It’s not surprising to find out that Elias has been setting up his own museum, because when we visited him in 2009, it was already very much underway. Enjoy a look at just some of his trove of turtle treasures.
The relationship between The Jim Henson Company and the TMNT was crucial to the success of the first movie, and in this teaser we go back to some of our earliest interviews and show just a hint of the awesome, never-before-seen footage we’ve managed to find. Old school Hollywood fans might know the Henson studio is Charlie Chaplin’s original studio, and this interview with Brian took place in what once was Chaplin’s office. It was amazing to be there, and all three of these interviews went deep into the process of bringing the turtles to life.
We can finally show you some footage from our July 2012 peek inside the secret bunker at the heart of Playmates Toys where V.P. of Product Development Ray Geiman gave us a sneak preview of some upcoming TMNT figures and more. Don’t worry, there’s plenty more to see from that visit, but you’ll have to wait until the film is complete…
Enjoy this Chasing Turtles sneak peek of some pre-select process footage of our time with Kevin Eastman as he digs through his vault in Northampton, Massachusetts. Taken from our post-production work on Turtle Power: The Definitive History of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This is just a taste of the incredible footage we got during our time in Northampton.
Enjoy this Chasing Turtles sneak peek of some pre-select process footage of our interview with the amazing Fred Wolf, taken from our post-production work on Turtle Power: The Definitive History of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This is just a taste of the incredible footage we got during the afternoon we spent talking to Fred back in July.
In this final Chasing Turtles episode from our trip to LA and San Diego Comic Con you will get to experience what it means to meet Rob Paulsen, Robert Ben Garant, Karl Aaronian and also get sick of me talking about rattlers. You may enjoy another hot (we shot in the desert) modeling session and learn what comes next as we get ever close to finishing up production. E-joy!
Cousin Curt cuts a powerful look at some terrible male models in the Hollywood Hills, another song by Randall and something way more valuable – our interviews with comedian Bobby Herbeck, the first writer on the 1990 TMNT movie, and Thomas Gray, who’s produced all of the TMNT films released thus far.
The Turtle Power crew ventures into the heart of sunny Burbank to spend some time enjoying the hospitality and kindness of Fred Wolf and get close up on a rich slice of TMNT animation history from Fred’s archives. Following that, the boys face the heinous traffic like heroes to work out on Muscle Beach and think about what they’ve learned. They had ice cream too.
