Contrary to popular belief, possession of marijuana – in any amount – remains illegal in Canada and is still being prosecuted in our courts in spite of all appearances to the contrary. So how can Justin Trudeau shrug and admit, “ yeah, I’ve had couple of puffs” – even while he was serving as an MP? How do you explain to a citizen that they deserve a criminal record, while their head of state flaunts his erstwhile “criminal” behaviour on a comedy show? Join J. Scott Cowan as he explains how and why this obviously unjust situation can and should be addressed.
